The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis


Comedy about the misadventures of love starved teen Dobie Gillis (Dwayne Hickman) and his beatnik pal Maynard G. Krebs (Bob Denver). Frank Faylen and Florida Friebus also starred as Dobie's put upon parents. The show ran on CBS for four seasons from 1959-63 and is also remembered for giving Warren Beatty and Tuesday Weld their big show biz breaks. Beatty and Weld were recurring characters in Season One.
