The Mod Squad

The Mod Squad

The Mod Squad is made up of three youths from the "hippie generation" brought together to help fight crime and infiltrate into the counter culture. Each have their own past with a brush with the law. Pete was the son of a wealthy family, kicked out after having stole a car. Julie was the daughter of a prostitute who ran away, only to be arrested for vagrancy. Linc was from a family of 13 children who got arrested in the Watts riots. All three are looking to make sense of their lives when they were approached by Captain Greer to join in his youth gang. They rode around in a Woody the first season but it was dumped down a mountain side in the second season.

I love this show!!Rating: 1 likes, 0 dislikes

I can still remember that I use to get addicted watching Mod Squad and I do believe that it is the premium action-packed with some elegance during its period. This show is all about adolescence, the feeling of eagerness, and fighting against crime. The 3 main characters are the young ones whose been victims of anxiety with rules of government and later, they became the heroes of the story who helps those victims against the villains. I was amazed by their fashionable costumes and mostly on how the story goes on each episode. One of the best show during the sixties! Luckily, I found a DVD copy of this show and it’s available at http://www.memorylanedvd.com/product.php?productid=3331981&cat=0&page=1 which produced a great copy of this show. I received DVDs with such great quality. Overall, I highly recommend this show; it's merely an excellent typical show with great action scenes, that is suitable for all ages. Read more
