| Show Tidbits | The street address of the Munster's home is 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
| Beverly Owen played blond-haired Marilyn in the pilot and first 13 episodes of The Munsters. She'd been uprooted from her theatrical roots and boyfriend in NYC and was abjectly miserable in LA where the series was being shot. With support from the rest of the cast she was released from her contract and replaced with Pat Priest (daughter of U.S. Treasurer Ivy Baker Priest) in episode 14, aired shortly before Christmas in 1964.
The irony is that (at the time) hardly any viewers noticed the substitution.
