Lassie, the famous collie finds new adventures with her young master, Will McCullough, in suburban California, a town called Glenn Ridge, in a remake that features a recurring role for Jon Provost---who played Timmy in the original series from 1957 to '64---as Uncle Steve. Will's family, Chris, the contractor father, Dee, his mom, and Megan, his sister. Premiering in 1989 and running for two seasons, The New Lassie centers around a suburban family, the McCulloughs: Chris and his wife Dee, their two children Will and Megan, and their dog Lassie. Like the original series, Lassie and Will's adventures deal with subjects related to ecology and family values. The series was produced by Antares Productions Inc)
