Jarod is a highly intelligent person who has the ability to become anything he wants to be, hence being a "pretender." After being kidnapped as a child, Jarod was kept by a think tank known as "The Centre." After his escape, Jarod tries to find out who he really is and what happened to his family, all the while while helping normal people who have trouble appear in thier lives. Assuming different identities and performing different careers, Jarod outsmarts The Centre. |
