Tireless in pursuing of criminals, The Protectors swept onto the small screen in 1972. Robert Vaughn played Harry Rule, an American based in swinging, sophisticated London who could call upon the considerable assets of Nyree Dawn Porter, as the madcap Contessa Di Contini, in her villa in colorful elegant Rome, and Tony Anholt as Paul Buchet, the man about the boulevards of Gay Paree.
