Suga Mama, voiced by Jo Marie Payton
Suga Mama is a silver-haired, salty-mouthed, self-proclaimed wrestling fan who takes full advantage of the liberties of being a senior and is not afraid to raise the roof when opportunity permits. She may be Oscar's mama, but she is the grooviest grannie around and, in between Tae-bo classes, loves to get down with her bad self. In between naps, denture scrubbing and wrestling matches, Suga Mama commands the attention of all in her presence. She's a woman with an opinion and she tells Penny and the others how it is, how it was, or how it will be. Also, not to be forgotten is her funky little poodle named Puff, who, on occasion, takes up residence in Suga Mama's wig for a well-earned nap. That is, when he's not being tormented by the toddlers. |
