Episode Quotes
Mr. Klug: (to Jonathan) I will be in my office calling the zoo for your replacement.
Jonathan: (walking away mockingly) He's baack...
Mr. Klug: (turning round toward Jonathan) You're saying something?
Jonathan: Oh y-yes, sir, that we've been working very hard and I think that you'll be very pleased with the result.
Mr. Klug: Joy to the world.
Jonathan: I'm betting that you want the Burger Boy account back.
Mr. Klug: Good bet! (He walks away)
Jonathan: (To himself) Also betting that you're no longer my mother's Burger Boy.

Jonathan: So there's something that you wanna get off your chest?
Sarah Eliot: I-I don't know what you're talking about.
Jonathan: A little favor that you might've done to your son.
Sarah Eliot: Well you finally got me, didn't ya? Little Robbie Gibson and his family did not move to Colorado. I had him transferred to PS 181.
Jonathan: What? Why? I really liked Robbie Gibson.
Sarah Eliot: Jonathan, there can only be one smarter kid in the class.
Jonathan: Oh No. But he sent me all those letters from Colorado Springs.
Sarah Eliot: I wrote them.
Jonathan: OK. Fine, mom. I'm taking about your breaking up with Mr. Klug. I know why you did it.
Sarah Eliot: Of course, you did. it's so obvious. He couldn't keep up with me. I'm too smart, I'm too quick. I've been running over him.
Jonathan: No, no, mom.
Sarah Eliot: I mean, Jonathan, I need somebody who goes toe to toe with me. Somebody who can jerk. Somebody who brings something to the table. I mean with him I kept feeling like I was always the one...
Jonathan: Doing all the talking?
Sarah Eliot: You've got the same problem with it?
Jonathan: Now you can stop pretending. I know why you did what you did.
