Out of sight and out of mind, a dark, untidy room at the end of a corridor: the smoking room. It is here you will find the smokers; Robin, Annie, Lilian, Clint, Sally, Barry and Len. This is their last refuge, a place to escape the "healthy brigade" and in Robin's case - work in general.
There is a simple but hard and fast rule: no shop talk. This is where work is forgotten for a few moments, (or in Robin's case, for as long as possible) a place to indulge in their anti-social habit without non-smokers. Everything else is on the agenda for conversation; work mates, each other life, love and anything that doesn't involve work.
