Thoughtful and wise beyond his years, Gladstone is the solid foundation upon which the rest of the uniform branch is based; or at least, that's probably what he believes. Coming from Trinidad, he brings with him from the New World, a very peculiar war-chest of knowledge and anecdotes, most of which are flawed to the core.
Still, many come to him in their hour of need, especially
PC Goody, who is of an opposite nature to Gladstone. Whereas
PC Goody is quite the 'spaz', Gladstone is calm and collected; and whereas the former is overly camp, the latter is very masculine, such as his belief that woman are attracted to the smell of sweat and Guinness.
