When the body of a prostitiute is found, more evidence arises that Inspector Pat Chappel and the Metropolitan police vice squad are facing a possible turf war between two local pimps. Chappel involves himself even more in the investigation when he takes a personal interest in trying to protect a high-class prostitute (Sally Hurst) from her physically abusive pimp, an unsuspecting family man named David Hinkley.
Hinkley becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation of the prostitute but is soonreleased ... making it a race against time for Chappel to get Nikki to a place of safety before Hinkley tries to harm her for speaking with the police.
The tables are soon turned for the pimp when he has to ask Chappel and the vice squad for help in finding his kidnapped daughter.
