When John Boy finds a football player at school cheating during a test, he is unsure what to do, turn him in, or receive a failing grade himself. What makes things worse is that another student also sees the player cheat. When John Boy defends the player at a hearing, he is able to help change the system that was currently in place. Meanwhile at home on the mountain, Jason catches Ben smoking, and with the help of Grandpa, is able to assist Ben in kicking the habit.
