When John Boy is on spring break, he meets a girl by the name of Daisy in a book store and agrees to be her partner in a week-long dance marathon. When Olivia finds out what he plans on doing, she forbids him from making a fool of him self dancing for so long, but he decides to dance anyway, making Olivia see that John Boy is old enough to make his own decisions. However, after a few days, John Boy has his fair share of dancing, finds a new dance partner for Daisy, and goes back to Walton's Mountain.
