  Episode Summary
With John Boy stationed in London as a reporter for the Stars and Stripes newspaper, Jim Bob and Ben begin talking about their desire to join the military. However, when they are told by John why they can’t join up, Jim Bob goes to town to get an Air-Core tattoo. When John and Olivia find out about, they aren’t too thrilled and tell him he has to live with the decision of getting it and their feelings for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, as his graduation draws closer, Jason begins to feel the pressure to join up. Not happy at the contemplation of killing another person, he goes to the recruitment office to learn about becoming a conscientious objector. After being taunted by some guys who walk into the office and later by at home by Ben, Jason turns to John for advice and then decides to finish college and then join the army.
