| Show Tidbits | Boatwright University, the university John Boy attended, is an actual college now known as the University of Richmond.
| Walton's Mountain is actually located in a jungle area inside the Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank. The roadway that goes to the Walton house is still there and can bee seen while on studio tours, but the house was consumed by a fire several years ago.
