  Episode Notes
Ropers credits: Mrs. Roper with Darts.

This episode was actually the third pilot produced. The other two versions were not popular with ABC executives and were not picked up.

This episode was based off the Man About the House episode titled "Three's A Crowd".

Opening Credits: The first season opening credits feature Jack riding his bike and falling off upon seeing an attractive brunette, Janet watering her plants and then dumping the water on Chrissy by accident, resulting in her shivering. Then we see The Roper's, with alternative credits.

  Episode Quotes
Janet: I also told them you were gay...

(about Mr. Roper's concerns of two girls living with a man)
Chrissy: Don't worry Mr. Roper, it would be strictly platonic!
Mr. Roper: What does that mean?
Mrs. Roper: Like you and me, Stanley!
