The series followed the lives of the wealthy Williams family. The series started with Heather engaged to Richard Williams who was unaware that she was having an affair with his son. The series was canceled by NBC after just one season.

All thirteen episodes where shown on Sky One in the United Kingdom with only eleven shown in the United States as the series was canceled due to low ratings. The airdates for the last two episodes correspond with the UK original airdates.

After paying Maureen off, Peter warns her to stay away for good. Peter and Samantha go to see her grandfather to ask him for his blessing so that they can get married. After running into a high school friend, Heather admits to Chandler she has been lying about her past. After Gwen sleeps with Jack she thinks she has made a mistake. Ethan is able to win Faith back after she dumps him by following advise that Jack offered him. Jenny tries to make her sister look bad by sabotaging a concert at the club.
