| 42 :03x07 - Groundrush (Oct/30/1996) | | Monica looks up to Scott Walden as a hero, but she soon learns her lesson in looking up to anyone but God as a hero when Scott is arrested for a murder committed eighteen years ago. Scott claims to be innocent, and Monica believes him, even going so far as to help him escape the police twice. Monica's actions soon get her into trouble and she's sent to God's Country to reflect on what she's done as God decides if she will still be allowed to be an angel because she has told a lie to protect Scott. While in God's Country, Monica is surprised to see Scott who has also been sent there to face up to his past. Monica learns that Scott did commit the murder, but because the victim was raping his sister. At first, things aren't looking good, but then Tess informs her that the only way for her to help her assignment, Leonard, this time around is for them to both remember the past. Monica finds it difficult getting him to remember because the memories are so painful for him. But she eventually persuades him to remember and learns that she never actually failed.
