Monica helps a single mother, Ginger, who works as a stripper to try to raise enough money for her daughter, Emily, to have an expensive operation done to fix a problem with her lip that she was born with. She doesn't want to accept charity, so she won't agree to have the operation done for free by Operation Smile, but it takes a young boy named Jeremy to get Emily the proper help that she needs.
