When Andrew arrives at a hospital to take an elderly man to Heaven, the man makes Andrew keep a promise to come back and help someone in the hospital whose soul is dying. Meanwhile, numerous patients at the hospital start to claim to have been visited by the 'angel of death' who tells them that God wants them to kill themselves. This leaves Monica, Tess, and Andrew all completely puzzled as to who this may be masquerading as the angel of death. But when the counterfeit 'angel' is exposed, it may be that too much damage has already been done.
