After an attack on Firebase Ladybird Sargent Anderson goes to find some new soldiers to replace the ones that were killed. After recruiting his new men and obtaining a cocky lieutenant, the men head out on their first mission. They soon learn what war is like and what they will need to survive in Vietnam.
