Elizabeth, is a soft, yet, well spoken individual. He entered the scene fresh off a divorce and with no where to go; and so he came to stay with Liz. Very soon, the very next day in fact, he met
Hyacinth.
His relationship with
Hyacinth took many twists and turns. At first he was walking blindly into the unknown; and then the realization had set in that she was something to be avoided at all costs; and finally, he turns to making his interaction with her more pleasurable to himself, by making subtle jokes at her expense in front of her.
If there's one thing he cannot do is avoid her! His profession is a classically trained musician, and as such also produces and directs the Amateur Operatic Society.
Hyacinth has her eye on gaining a part in one of these productions, and as such always breaks out into song whenever he's around.
