| Show Slang | Ass-Blaster:
Ass-Blasters are the third and final stage in the life cycle. They get their name from the powerful jet like explosions they produce from their rear to help them fly using their huge sail-like wings. Ass-Blasters are responsible for laying the eggs that later develop into Graboids.
| Graboid:
Graboids are the large, subterranean worm like creatures that live in Perfection valley. They hunt by sensing vibrations and attack from below, pulling their prey under the ground. They emerge from eggs laid by the Ass-Blasters and are the first stage in their overall life-cycle.
| Mixmaster:
Mixmaster is a compound which allows intact, functioning DNA to move readily among plants and animals causing drastic mutations in their offspring.
| Seismo:
A shortened word for seismograph/seismometer which is used to measure seismic activity and also to track Graboids when they're travelling underground.
| Shrieker:
Shriekers are the second stage in the life-cycle. Unlike Graboids they hunt above ground and sense heat. When Shriekers feed they multiply, and all they do is feed.
