Wacky Races

This Hanna-Barbera animated series featured 11 race cars in a cross-country American road race. The drivers compete against each other to complete each lap of the race, with the more villainous drivers (Dick Dasterdly, the Slag Brothers,the Gruesome Twosome, the Ant Hill Mob) often cheating to defeat their more honorable contenders (Penelope Pitstop, Peter Perfect, Professor Pat Pending). Despite that, the heroes typically win. Each car has a particular theme, from the Gruesome Twosome's haunted house on wheels, to Professor Pat Pending's shape-shifting vehicle.
