Episode Quotes
Gatsby: Hawks, I'm sick and tired of these childish games and it's time Chris Hale knew it.
Hawks: Why don't you go tell him?
Gatsby: Excellent idea. I shall.

Hale: Don't tell me how to run this train, Mr. Gatsby
Gatsby: Mr. Hale, I'm only asking you to read your own rules.

Gatsby: (to Elaine) This is a business trip for me. There's no place in business for sentiment. This is something you never seem to learn.

Gatsby: Do you think I paid good money to waste my time?
Hale: Tell it to me later, Mr. Gatsby. I've got work to do.

Gatsby: I'm sick and tired of waiting around here. When are we leaving?
Hale: When I decide it's time.

Hale: Seems like it always takes a while for folks to get acquainted. Especially with themselves.

Episode Goofs
Nitpick: Elaine Gatsby recovers rather quickly from her nasty fall off the runaway wagon.

Cultural References
One wonders whether or not this episode's screenwriter based the name of Martin Gatsby on F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel The Great Gatsby.

This one starts out kind of routine but gets better as it goes along and we discover the truth about the title character of the episode who goes from completely unlikable to somewhat sympathetic by the end.
