John McIntire does not appear in this episode. Perhaps he stayed home and took care of the kids this week while his wife (Jeanette Nolan) appeared on the show.

Episode Quotes
Hawks: Charlie's as honest as the day is long but the biggest blabbermouth I ever met.

Bella: They wouldn't put you in charge of a whole wagon train, it stands to reason.
Wooster: That's a matter of opinion, I'd say.

Bella: (about her sons) They're stupid. That's their father's blood.

Bella: (to Wooster) Once a body gets used to your face, her stomach stops actin' up.

Wooster: I've had these whiskers for 30 years.
Bella: Time you got rid of 'em. They're gettin' kinda musty.
