David: You hang around you'll be an accomplice.
Susan: What's that?
David: You'll be as guilty of thievin' as I am.
David: (to Susan) You wanna know the truth? I'd rather spend my whole life in jail than be nagged to death by you.
Wooster: (about David) You wanna wake up your friend?
Susan: I have a feelin' he won't like it.
Wooster: I'll apologize to him later.
Hale: (to David and Susan) Anybody that joins this wagon train has the money to pay for the privilege or a story why they don't have the money to pay for the privilege. Which is it with you?
David: We don't have any money.
Hale: Then I hope your story's a good one. We've heard some dandies.
Susan: I'm not a very good liar, am I?
Hale: My guess is you haven't had much practice.
Hale: Nice hard day's work gives you satisfaction, doesn't it?
David: Gives you a sore back and blisters.
David: (to Susan) I'm not fallin' for it, little girl. Get yourself some dolls if you wanna play house.
Judd: How'd you know my name?
Hale: What's the difference as long as the marshal does. Might even have a picture of you too.
