A fairy named Layla tries to save a group of pixies from Lord Darkar, a ruthless evil phoenix-like creature. Meanwhile, back at Alfea, a new year has started and the winx girls are sophmores. Bloom meets a fairy and the fairy tells Bloom things to come in the future, and that a great new darkness will appear.
28 :02x02 - Princess of Tides
Lord Darkar breaks the 3 witches out of goody-good camp. Meanwhile, Layla is being took care of by the winx girls in Alfea.
29 :02x03 - Into the Under Realm
Bloom, Stella, Layla, Brandon & Sky go on a mission to shadowhaunt to save the pixies.
30 :02x04 - Queen of Perfection (aka Pretty Pretty Princess)
Stella & Brandon fall into the kingdom of Downland, and the princess of the kingdom (Princess Amentia) falls in love with Brandon, and tells him their getting married.
31 :02x05 - Rescuing The Pixies
After reaching Shadowhanut and saving the pixies, Layla, Bloom, & Sky are saved by a flying "angel" from being killed by the senior witches.
32 :02x06 - My Boyfriend's Wedding
After saving Brandon from being married to Princess Amentia, the winx girls and the boys (including the pixies) go back to Alfea.
33 :02x07 - The Dark Tower
A dark tower-like wall appears in Alfea and the winx girls must destroy it. Meanwhile, Brandon & Sky spy on Bloom and Ms. Faragonda talks with some of the teacher-fairies from Alfea, Cloud Tower, & Red Fountain about what Darkar wants from the pixie village.

A Terrible dragon-like creature is attacking Red Fountain, and the winx girls and red fountain boys try to defeat it. Meanwhile, the senior witches try to steal the codex from Red Fountain.

When a clone of Professor Avalon appears, the winx girls (minus Bloom) become suspicious of him.

The senior witches steal Red Fountain's Codex.

When a spell is casted on the pixies , it makes them want to go back to the pixie village, but the winx girls must stop them.

The girls are trapped in the realm of grim in the reality chamber and must escape.

While on a trip to Gardenia, the girls get into trouble with a human gang.

The Winx Club come face to face with Baltor at Cloud Tower while on their search for Faragonda.

The Winx Club go to Flora's home-realm to find a cure for Ms. Faragonda.
