Suzanne Sugarbaker (Delta Burke, reprising her role from "Designing Women") takes over her late husband's seat in Congress and proceeds to make a mockery of the legal system by appearing on "Crossfire."
 
2 :01x02 - Miss Sugarbaker Goes to Washington (2) (Jan/04/1995)
After a botched appearance on "Crossfire," Suzanne decides to give up her seat in Congress, but finds herself having a change of heart.

When the staff discover that Sissy's been living at the office, Suzanne takes her in.

Malone decides that she's ready to begin dating again, so she seeks advice from her coworkers (and buys a large assortment of condoms).
 
6 :01x06 - You Talk Too Much (Jan/25/1995)
The staff watch a series of sleazy movies so that they can speak at a hearing about the dangers of violence towards women in film. Meanwhile, Natty becomes convinced that Sissy poisoned Senator Jesse Helms.
 
7 :01x07 - Bad Girl (Feb/01/1995)
After a pregnancy scare, Malone decides to become a promiscuous "bad girl." Meanwhile, Suzanne agrees to let some constituents view classified documents, and Sissy begins selling naughty lingerie out of her briefcase.

Suzanne's ex-husband, Dash Goff (Gerald McRainey, reprising his role from "Designing Women") blows into town on a book tour. When her coworkers begin lusting after Dash, Suzanne becomes jealous.
 
9 :01x09 - Veda (Aug/18/1995)
The staff come to loathe the ditsy new intern, Veda Walkman, so each of the staffers make an attempt to fire her.
 
10 :01x10 - Women in Film (Aug/25/1995)
The staff appear at a hearing about the dangers of depicting violence against women in film. Meanwhile, Natty weeps over her bad hairdo.
 
11 :01x11 - The Conjugal Cottage (Sep/08/1995)
Natty is too ill to spend time in the conjugal cottage with her imprisoned Congressman boyfriend, so she sends Sissy to take her place... but when Sissy finds herself attracted to him, Suzanne steps in.
 
12 :01x12 - North to Alaska (Sep/08/1995)
During a business trip to Alaska, Natty, Sissy and Suzanne find the perfect men -- but they soon wonder if the men are too perfect.
 
13 :01x13 - Dear Diary (Sep/08/1995)
After an obnoxious Congresswoman subpoenas Suzanne's diary, she turns to Anthony Bouvier (Meshach Taylor, reprising his role from "Designing Women) to dispose of the diary for her.
