1 :01x01 - Surprised to be Dead
Yusuke Urameshi is having a normal day for him at least. He beats up a guy called Kuwabara gets in trouble, tries to look up his friend Kayko's skirt, and finally skips school. Surprisingly he does the unexpected and saves a child's life, by pushing him out of the way of a car, and now he is dead. The Grim Reaper a girl named Baton has been ordered to offer him a chance to get his life back. Yusuke says no at first, but after seeing how many people he has effected in his life he decides to take the chance. How or what can Yusuke do to get his life back?
2 :01x02 - Koenma Appears
Yusuke meets the child like Koenma the ruler of the Spirit World and is given a an egg by the ruler. If Yusuke fills the egg with good intentions it will hatch into a spirit beast that will bring him back to his body, but if he fills it with bad intention it will become an evil beast, that will eat him. If that weren't enough Yusuke has other problems his body is about to be cremated. If his body is gone he will never be able to come back to life! How can Yusuke tell his mom not to cremate his body?
3 :01x03 - Kuwabara: A Promise Between Men
Kuwabara and his friends save Kayko from a bunch of thugs from a rival school, but they get into trouble for fighting. So one their teachers tries to punish one of Kuwabara's friends by taking his work permit, but Kuwabara comes to the rescue, by promising him not to fight for a whole week. Can Kuwabara keep this promise? Can Yusuke help him keep this promise even though he is a ghost?
4 :01x04 - Requirements For Lovers
Koenma sends an investigator to find out if anyone in Yusuke's life wants him back. The investigator and Botan want to find out if Yusuke and Kayko are more than just friends. Will they get Yusuke to uncover some feeling he didn't even know he had?
5 :01x05 - Yusuke's Back
Thanks to some help from Kayko Yusuke is finally revived. On his first day back he has to help his rival Kuwabara, take care of leader of a new gang in town. What does Koenma want with Yusuke?
6 :01x06 - Three Monsters
When King Yama's vault is broken into by thieves it is up to Yusuke to save the day. The three thieves have taken the Artifacts of Darkness, which has the power cause the destruction of the Human World, in the wrong hands. Is Yusuke ready for this case considering he is fighting the first thief who is big demon with rock hard skin?!
7 :01x07 - Gouki and Kurama
After a struggle Yusuke comes out the victor in his battle against Goki but just barley. Now he has to face the mysterious Kurama in order to retrieve the Forlon Hope. He will be in for a real surprise.
8 :01x08 - The Three Eyes of Hiei
The third thief Hiei kidnaps Kayko to force Yusuke into giving him the other two Artifacts of Darkness. Yusuke gives him the other two artifacts but Hiei goes back on his deal. To make matters worst he has used the Shadow Sword to turn her into a demon. So now Yusuke has to beat Hiei and get the sword back to cure her. Does Yusuke even have a chance at beating Hiei and his Jagan eye?
9 :01x09 - The Search Begins
Yusuke gets his second case from Koenma, to go and stop a demon named Rando from becoming the famous Genkai's apprentice.
10 :01x10 - Kuwabara's Spirit Sword
Yusuke and Kuwabara have both made it to the final eight of Genkai's apprentice tournament. Now they both have to fight in a room that is so dark you can't see the front of your nose. Anyone of the other six fighters could be Rando. Kuwabara finally unleash his true spirit power in the form of the Spirit Sword. Will it be enough to win?
Yusuke has problem of his own he has to fight Kibano a warrior who can actually see in this room of darkness!
11 :01x11 - Hard Fights for Yusuke
Yusuke barely beats Kibano and now he must face the ninja Kazemaru who is at full power in the semi-finals. How can he beat him when his spirit energy is low? To make matters worst Kazemaru maybe Rando.
12 :01x12 - Rando Rises, Kuwabara Falls
Kuwabara's match with Shorin is about to begin. Knowing that Shorin maybe Rando Yusuke and Botan tell him he should forfeit. Kuwabara refuses saying he'll beat Shorin and fight Yusuke in the finals. Will Kuwabara win or is he biting off more than he can chew?
13 :01x13 - Yusuke vs. Rando: 99 Attacks
Just when Yusuke looks victorious Rando shows his true form. To bad Yusuke is very low on spirit energy and Rando has 99 attacks has demon energy that is the highest Yusuke has ever felt. How will our Spirit Detective find a way to defeat Rando?
14 :01x14 - The Beasts of Maze Castle
It has been six months since Yusuke's case with Rando and he has finally returned from Genkai's training. Just as he tries to catch up with Kayko and Kuwabara Botan appears with a new case from Koenma. Yusuke has to defeat the Four Saint Beast and retrieve a flute. The Saint Beats are using this flute to control demon insects to take control of people.
They want Koenma to let the barrier around their castle down so they can go to Earth. Can Yusuke beat four powerful demons even with Kuwabara's help?
15 :01x15 - Genbu, the Stone Beast
Yusuke and Kuwabara are joined by Kurama and Hiei and together the unlikely team has passed the Gate of Betrayal. Now they must face the first Saint Beast Genbu Kurama goes to fight him, but when Genbu reveals a unusual ability victor seems slime for the fox demon.
16 :01x16 - Byakko, the White Tiger
The Spirit Detective team have make it to the second Saint Beast Byakko the White Tiger. Kuwabara decides it's his turn is to fight. It won't be easy considering Byakko is even stronger than Genbu and can create a small army of demon beast.
17 :01x17 - Byakko's Lair
Kuwabara and Byakko's fight is about to come to it's conclusion.
18 :01x18 - Seiryu, the Blue Dragon
Yusuke and the others have made it to the third Saint Beast's lair Seiryu the blue dragon. When Byakko comes begging Seiryu for another chance we see just how cruel Seiryu can be, he kills Byakko without no hesitations. This angers Yusuke enough to fight him, but surprisingly Hiei pulls him back. He wants to finish Seiryu for what he did. Can Hiei best the ice dragon?
19 :01x19 - Suzaku, Leader of the Beasts
Yusuke is about to face the most powerful Saint Beast Suzaku. Against the leader of the Saint Beast our Spirit Detective will have his work cut out for him. Suzaku orders the infected humans to kill Kayko. So now Yusuke has to beat Suzaku before the infected humans find and kill Kayko.
20 :01x20 - Seven Ways to Die
Yusuke becomes over whelmed when Suzuka splits himself into seven. The seven Suzuka's capture Yusuke and force him to watch Kayko be killed by the infected humans. Thanks to Botan Kayko is able to escape. Suzuka tells Yusuke they will kill her eventually and he begins to give up, until he remembers what Genkai told him, about giving up to easily.
He remembers how all his friends give it their all to defeat the other Saint Beast no matter how hopeless it was. This revives his fighting spirit and he pushes all the Suzuka's back. He and prepares for his final fight with Suzuka.
21 :01x21 - Yusuke's Sacrifice
Yusuke runs out of spirit energy after using it all up in his Shotgun. He finds himself in some trouble when Suzuka is still alive. To make matters worst Suzuka heals himself and is ready to kill Yusuke. This forces Yusuke to use his life force. Even if Yusuke beats Suzuka he will die if he uses all of his life force.
22 :01x22 - Lamenting Beauty
Hiei delivers a tape from Koenma to Yusuke about his next case.Yusuke watches the tape at Kuwabara's house.It seems Yusuke's next case is to rescue the ice apparition Yukina.She is being held prisoner of a crime lord named Tarukane.Looks like heroes have their work cut out for them.
23 :01x23 - The Toguro Brothers Gang
Yusuke and Kuwabara get deeper and deeper into Tarukane's.But can Yusuke and Kuwabara beat all of the Togruo brother's men?
24 :01x24 - The Deadly Triad
Yusuke and Kuwabara have to defeat the Triad.The Triad are the strongest members in the Toguro gang.

Toguro returns and he goes after Yusuke.Mean while Yusuke is spending time with Kayko.When he sees Toguro he leaves her to see what he wants.Toguro tells Yusuke he wants him and his friends to compete in the Dark Tournament.If Yusuke says no Toguro will kill him and everyone he knows.If they want to survive this tournament Yusuke,Kuwabara,Kurama,and Hiei have to train and reach a whole new level.
27 :02x02 - The Dark Tournament Begins
Team Urameshi are on the ship to Hanging Neck Island home of the Dark Tournament.They have to pass the preliminaries to go to the main tournament.The Masked Fighter steps up to battle.All the other teams decide to go after him first will the Masked Fighter even stand a chance?
28 :02x03 - First Fight
The first match of the Dark Tournament is Team Urameshi vs Team Rukuyukai.Kuwabara steps up to fight first.The demon kid Rinku comes to fight for his team.Kuwabara and Rinku are evenly match it's any ones game.
29 :02x04 - Flowers of Blood
The battle between Kuwabara and Rinku ends with both fighters still alive.The second battle begins with Kurama vs Roto.Kurama is clearly stronger and is about to finish Roto,but Koto threatens Kurama's mother.Roto says if he push a button on a device he has his brother will kill his mom.What will Kurama do?
30 :02x05 - Dragon of the Darkness Flame
Zeru is tired that his team has failed to kill anyone from team Urameshi.So he decides to fights in the next match himself. Hiei decides to fight to take him on. The fight starts with Zeru using some fire techniques while Hiei dodges them. Zeru use a technique that covers his whole body in flames.In with two moves it looks like Hiei is finished. Is this the end of Hiei or does he have a technique of his own up his selves?

He, Kurama, Kayko,and Shizru were invited to Genkai's house. Koenma and Botan show up as well. The only person not there is Yusuke. The final episode of Yu Yu Hakusho and it wraps up everything.
