Mouse Fitzgerald arrives in town in his rocket propelled Jet Fighter Taxi looking for employment. He finds it in the form of serving as an escort driver for Shark, as real and as beached as they come. His first objective: To take a rectangular businessman (RBM) to "Cheese Industries", but the bank-robbing rebel Mouse and his sidekick Skillet have other, more perverted plans for the straight laced businessman as they take him to film a porno shoot...
Fitz meets with Eye Guy, a large singular orbital lobe who phrases many of his sentences with the word "eye" inserted into them. Fitz's next objective is to assassinate Golden Joe, a one-toothed jiving' creature who can teleport at will. Fitz decides he'd rather not kill and arranges different plans to liberate Skillet from prison with Joe's help.
Fitz takes a tip from Skillet and visits a corndog farm, where he meets with Rooster, a bare-footed ballad performing crop master with only one hand. Shark receives a call from The Rectangular Business Man demanding how much Fitz knows of what is going on...
Meanwhile, The New Guy, a ghost-like being, abducts Skillet, with whom he has a mysterious fascination with...
Fitz discovers disturbing things in his apartment as Shark leaves him cryptic warnings on his answering machines. Meanwhile, Skillet escapes from The New Guy and reunites with Fitz as they put together the audacious "F-Off" song. Liquor intrudes on Rooster's privacy by reading a letter directed to him...
Fitz and Skillet engage in a fierce gun duel with Peanut Cop, and eventually a persistently annoying woman who verbally nags every move they make. Shark and RBM begin attaching several city residents with mysterious headgear. Tragedy strikes when Fitz and the mysterious Man/Woman meet and return to Rhoda's bar...
Fitz finally snaps after being deceived by a faked death and demands Rhoda provide him answers as to what is going on. Rhoda implicates Rooster in recent events, leading Fitz and Skillet back to Rooster's corndog farm. In a successful raid, the two friends successfully capture him as well as Golden Joe and Peanut, but all of them soon become endangered when the New Guy returns...
RBM removes Rhoda from the equation, whilst Fitz and the others face off against the New Guy before making their way back into the city to attend a party being held by Shark. Eye Guy faces the wrath of the Hand and a pair of scissors...
Held captive by Shark and Square Guy, Fitz experiences nightmarish visions of his past, whilst Peanut Cop, Golden Joe, and Rooster break into Shark's party to look for him, but one of them is quickly lured into a trap and held captive
Fitz and Skillet return to Liquor's store, where work begins on reattaching Eye Guy's severed leg. RBM and Shark take to the road in a car, where Shark is quick to announce he is now "black" and quickly establishes his "almighty blackness" by eliminating one of his own in an explosion...
The Hand resurfaces and attacks Liquor's store, whilst Rooster is taken back to a dark cavern by a giant Spider who plays him piano music, the notes of which seek out and attack Fitz. Meanwhile, Shark and RBM pick up the annoying green-sweatered woman as a passenger...

Meanwhile, Pronto seizes a rodent-shaped medallion from Shark's command center and presents it to the demonic Amalok, who begins a rampage within the city...
Liquor and Fitz follow a crucial lead to learn more of the mysterious demon Amalok as he begins his attack on the city, whilst Shark successfully captures several of Fitz's allies. Alerted to the trechary of Pronto and the unleashing of Amalok however, Shark demands all weapons be deployed to counter-attack...
Fitz decides to risk running through a virtual gauntlet of forces laying waste to the city in a bid to reach Shark's command center and rescue his friends. Liquor takes drastic action to reattach Rooster's missing hand, but can Rooster's Corndroid be activated in time?

In the aftermath of tragedy, Fitz decides to take a break from the action and play what turns out to be a revealing game of pinball. Viewers finally learn more than they could ever learn about Mouse's predicament, as Shark and Square Guy resurface in ways never seen before,. With Fitz at their mercy, will the allies of the mysterious New Angel intervene in time?
