"Most Wanted" Summary |
| |
Robert Stack returned to series television in this police drama which aired on ABC during the 1976-77 TV season. Stack played Captain Lincoln Evers, head of a special division of the LAPD known as the "Most Wanted Unit." This unit specialized in apprehending criminals who were on the most wanted list. Shelly Novack, Jo Ann Harris, and Hari Rhodes co-starred with Stack. Most Wanted was produced by legendary TV production maven Quinn Martin and aired immediately following Charlie's Angels but despite having these factors plus Stack in its favor, the show never caught fire in the ratings and lasted only one season.
