The unit trails a gang that hijacks yachts and kills their owners and crews. A gang dealing in drug trafficking turns to piracy, seizing yachts, setting the passengers adrift at sea, and using the captured ships to transport drugs.The organizer of the ring, Steve Barr, has ready access to the yachts as maintenance crew chief of a marina. When he learns of a yacht scheduled for a long cruise, his gang takes to sea and hijacks the craft. The Most Wanted unit is called in and Capt. Link Evers goes undercover as a yacht owner, with Sgts. Charlie Benson and Kate Manners as his crew.

Link finds out that Tyler's plan is to blast one of the biggest and richest vaults in the State, the rest of the plan is very vague. Anyway, Link is helping train the men whom Tyler will use for the big heist.

Fearing underworld retaliation, a labor leader who killed a syndicate chief's son tries to cover up the deed.
The death of a gangster kingpin's son prompts him to put out a contract to get the killer and the 'hit man' turns out to be a beautiful brunette.
One of Link's team is killed in the unit's investigation of the death of a mysterious "businessman".
A chap called Jimmy is murdered after a business talk at a fancy restaurant one day, and the killing has the mayor ordering Link to solve it fast, for it seems to be connected with organised crime.
While Link, Kate and Charlie probe, they not only have to cope with bad feelings following the death of the cop on duty, but also to stop Jimmy's father from getting into the game.

The hero gets wind of something rotten among the bulls and the bears following the "suicides" of three well known characters who have been very much into stocks and such.
