Anderson Cooper 360°: December 28, 2007

Reporting live from Karachi, Pakistan Anderson continues with the coverage of Benazir Bhutto’s death and how Pakistani officials are linking the Taliban and Al-Qaida to her death. As Anderson is joined by terrorism analyst Peter Bergen, they discuss how the backlash of Ms. Bhutto’s supporters is affecting the daily life of Pakistan’s citizens and how an Al-Qaida leader supposedly said in a conversation with a colleague that he was proud of the individuals who killed Bhutto. CNN Correspondent David Mattingly then analyzes the last video of Benazir Bhutto with a security expert about what went wrong in the moments leading to her death. Anderson is then joined again by Peter Bergen and Middle East Analyst Rasa Aslan to discuss what options the U.S. has in bringing Democracy to the region. Anderson then interviews Senator Hillary Clinton and John Edwards to get their reactions to Ms. Bhutto’s assassination. In “Raw Politics,” Anderson is joined by Candy Crowley and Time journalist Mark Halperin to discuss how the events in the Middle East are going to affect the Presidential candidates from both parties.
