• GMTV murder report 'broke rules'. |
GMTV broke broadcasting rules when it screened "inappropriate and unsuitable" CCTV images of an unprovoked attack on two students, regulator Ofcom has said.
The footage showed the moments leading up to the murder of one victim, Daniel Pollen, and the stabbing of his friend.
Viewers in the London area saw the tape on ITV1's breakfast programme in June.
