Popstars: The Rivals: Live Finals - 5

The series continues with another live edition and it's the boy's turn to perform again with one more finalist to go by the end of the night. Once all the performers have sung the phone lines were opened for the public vote. Davina returns later in the evening with this weeks results. Matt and Mikey learn that they are in the bottom two after the public vote. Mikey learns that he is eliminated and Matt survives for another week.

Recap

The boys sing once again and Davina is on hand to chat to the perfomers. By the end of the night one more singer must go home. Mikey sings the Lionel Ritchie song Hello whilst Chris performs If You Don’t Know Me By Now. Daniel sings For Once In My Life and all the judges like his performance. Matt sings Pray whilst Anton sings You Can’t Hurry Love. Keith sings Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word To Say and Pete is clearly impressed. Jamie performs Working My Way Back To You. The phone lines are then opened for the public vote. Later in the evening Davina returns with results of this week’s vote. Anton, Mickey and Matt discover that they have received the lowest amount of votes. Anton learns that he is safe for another week leaving Mikey and Matt in the bottom two. Davina tells Mikey that he is the one who has been eliminated this week. Mikey performs one last time live on stage and is joined by all the other boys...

Mikey has since dated Sarah Harding who also appeared on the show.

Matt was upset at being in the bottom two.
