The series orginally aired on the radio and made it's television debut on Decmber 29, 1958 on the NBC network in the United States. The series was created by Irna Phillips.

The series followed the life of Jerry Malone and his family and was set in Denniston, Maryland.

The series was cancelled by NBC in March, 1963.
