Admiral Mifune plans a scheme to get rid of Tylor. His plan is to use the ship as baits for other Raalgon fleets and blast the Soyokaze and ships together.

Mifune plans a ceremony for Tylor. He hands him a medal he calls the United Planets Order of Merit. It really is a bug that functions as radio transmitter which will make the Soyokaze look like a bigger ship than it really is. A Raalgon fleet appears and tries to shoot down the Soyokaze. When Mifune launches an order to fire on the fleet, the Raalgon ships detects Mifune’s ship. The Raalgon leader thinks the Soyokaze is bait for them and warps out of the area to Mifune’s location.

Mifune’s ship fight with the Raalgon leader. The Raalgon’s target a ship called the Ohka next to Mifune. However, when they destroy the ship the blast has a chain reaction that threatens them. The Raalgons leave the area and Mifune much to his disgusts retreats to where Tylor is. Mifune's plan to kill Tylor have backfired and Tylor has come away looking like a real captain.
