Phoenix Nights (2 Fans)
 |
"Phoenix Nights" Summary |
| |
"Welcome to The Phoenix Club." A Bolton 'night club' is the backdrop for this 'Northern' comedy. With a small name cast of superb actors, this show finds its niche in the everyday trials and tribulations of running a working man's 'club', especially when its punters are seemingly elderly. Scams and schemes are the backbone of Peter Kay's character, an entrepreneur of the club scene, as he will do anything to get an advantage in business and draw in the customers.
A spin-off of an episode of 'That Peter Kay Thing' this series also spawned a spin-off, 'Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere'.
