Quantum Leap: A Bold Leap Forward is the sequel to the original 1989-1993 Quantum Leap series. It follows Sam Beckett's daughter and her helper Al, as they travel through time looking for Sam, to hopefully bring him back once and for all.

Note: Quantum Leap: A Bold Leap Forward is not going to definitely happen. So far it is 50/50 as Trey Callaway and Donald P. Bellisario are in talks. The fans want the original actors to appear in it - Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. At first Scott Bakula was tied up with Star Trek: Enterprise, but as that program is now cancelled, Scott is available to do the program. Dean is also available, and both Donald and Trey are enthusiastic, but they need to decide on a script and film the pilot episode, which so far has not started.
