 "Sharpe" Summary
 
Richard Sharpe is a fictional character who serves as a British Officer during the Napoleonic wars. He starts his career in the ranks after saving the life of General Wellesley, future Duke of Wellington. As the episodes tell his story, they show him battling from Spain to India winning battles and love. The character is based on a series of books written by Bernard Cornwell. The episodes premiered as two hour movies at apprioximately three a year.
