A lawyer takes only cases refused by other lawyers.
Set in the Big Apple (NY), the series explores the conflicts of a rebellious young lawyer facing the bureaucracy of justice. In his misfortunes, Eddie Dodd walks through the difficult and thin line that separates truth from justice, becoming himself a "semantic warrior." Roger Baron is his younger partner who struggle, in turn, to obtain a more respectable clientele. The squalid offices of these two lawyers are literally overrun with individuals of questionable backgrounds and social activities, with scarce financial resources to afford legal representation. As in any remarkable duo, Eddie and Roger are just as opposed as Winter from Summer, both in regard to their personality and their looks. However, lofty ideals, translated into justice for ordinary people, are a goal shared by both advocates of the law.
