The Pre-show just started about 15 minutes ago. The actual show will start in 45 minutes. Britney Spears will open the show with her new single, "Gimme More". Some say this could be her comeback. If you remember, the last time Britney opened the show was the controversial Like A Virgin remix which hit the tabloids when Britney kissed Madonna. Nominations aren't that great this year. Not as much as their used to be. It will only air once though. They wonder why the ratings are dropping..pfft.

I think it was Rihanna or however she spells her name.
The awards were awful. They'd come back from commercial breaks right in the middle of one of the bands' sets. That was stupid to have them in separate rooms. I wanted to see everyone perform on the big stage. Actually, I didn't wanna see anyone perform. I only watched because my friend wants Justin Timberlake to father her children. The show also needed a host. Nothing was cohesive.
Poor Britney Spears. I was hoping she'd do well. |

Haha..sorry. Britney wrote that song for a reason.
Apparently, self-obsessed Kanye West won't be returning for next year's awards because he didn't win any this year..
Things I hated about the show:
1) Sarah Silverman. I used to like her, but gawd. MTV Awards makes me dislike her.
2) No host. They need somebody to front the show. It's not like Chris Rock had anything better to do that day.
3) Las Vegas. Just keep it at Radio City Music Hall!
4) Multiple levels. Um..keep it to one stage, please. It causes confusion.
5) The lack of music videos. I bet they didn't even nominate based off the music videos this year. They just chose random songs
Things I liked:
1) Justin telling them to play videos instead of The Simpsons and reality shows. Um..Justin..that's Fox you're thinking of. No idea why he said The Simpsons. Unless he meant the Simpson sisters, which isn't very nice to them. |
