In a small southern city everyone knows everyone and they're all up in each other's business. And that makes it much more difficult to get away with murder. Best friends Hollis and Rae have a lot in common. Born and raised here, they both chose careers in law enforcement. Police detective Rae investigates the crimes and prosecutor Hollis puts the bad guys away. But that doesn't mean that they always see eye to eye. Rae refuses to bend the truth, even if it means a bad guy gets away. Hollis doesn't understand why Rae would want to get married because she's perfectly happy with the married man she's secretly seeing. But that won't stop her from being Rae's maid of honor. And another thing, if Rae's getting married to Jim, why'd she kiss her police partner Henry last night?
