Darryl Freehorn (Mather Zickel), a Canadian by birth, but the son of the brilliant deceased CIA agent Jake Freehorn, finds he must cope with working for Canada’s severely under funded intelligence agency. Where other country’s agents fly to their destinations, Darryl is forced to take the bus. His supervisor is constantly questioning and denying his work related expenses as being too extravagant.
Darryl is reluctantly helped by his enamored assistant Naomi Lutz (Joanna Canton). After Darryl, along with Naomi, successfully diverts a major international security crisis, while helping the CIA, both are reassigned to Washington D.C. as Canada’s liaison to the CIA.
Although Darryl is almost as brilliant as his father once was, he has two major hurdles he has to overcome; the first is most of the people he meets can’t believe Canada even has a security agency, and the second hurdle are the people above him taking credit for his brilliant insights.
