The series was a comedy show which aired on BBC television in the United Kingdom. When Martin Sweet hits hard times he is forced to sell the posh family home and move all of his family into his father's council flat. Their daughter Eleanor has a Beatles fetish.
The show is filled with Beatlesque references such as "Martin and Lorretta," "Eleanor-as in Eleanor Rigby," and ''Uncle Albert."
