They say the best place to meet someone is at a wedding. That couldn’t be truer for Stephanie, Ivan, Eli, Adam and Georgia. Because of their single status, and a tenuous relationship with the bride and groom, they are all seated at Table 18 – in a far corner of the wedding hall, next to the kitchen. Through the course of the reception, each person questions his or her life and vows to make a better go at it. It’s more than a bonding experience. For richer or poorer, these five kindred spirits will grow to become friends and, in some cases, lovers.
