|
When a woman, who is being chased by a man, runs in front of Togusa's car, Togusa gives chase and arrests the man. However, before he can disarm him, the man shoots the woman to death. In the aftermath, the attacker, through his attorney, claims that Togusa neglected his individual liberties and Togusa is brought to trial.
