Mrs. Marigold Alcock (Beryl Reid) is the owner of several small, yet dubious companies. Through her office in a seedy part of Soho, London, and help from Richard Gander (Richard O'Sullivan) and Ernest (John Carter), she runs each of the companies, dealing with humorous situations as they arise.
