A Flame in the Wind was a daytime soap on ABC in the mid-1960s that lasted barely three years. The series started under the name A Flame in the Wind, but ended its run under the new name A Time For Us.

The series focused on the life and loves of various families in the fictional city of Haviland. The starting point for the series was Kate Austen who was writing a book about the community, and how the other families in Haviland were quite annoyed with Kate Austen and what she might write, or has written in her book.
